A meeting will be held on Saturday May 14th from 1-4PM at City Centre Library in Surrey. (Room 306) For the first half of the meeting we will welcome Kim Hall, BScPT, Registered Physical Therapist. Bio: Kim has worked extensively in neurological rehabilitation for over 10 years. She has worked across the continuum of care including acute care, in patient rehab, out patients and more recently in the community. After 7 years working for Vancouver Coastal Health, she recognized the increasing demand for in-home physiotherapy and started Physio2U, which aims to Empower Lives and make physiotherapy accessible for all. Join our ataxia family for a fun filled picnic on Saturday July 25th. Current, old and new members are welcome to attend with their families and/or caregivers. It is being held at shelter #2 near the Miniature Train at Stanley Park in downtown Vancouver. It will be held from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. There will be lots of fun and laughter as well as games for the little ones. The BC Ataxia Society will provide hot dogs and soft drinks/water but we ask that you bring a potluck dish of either dessert or salad. There is a parking lot near the miniature train as well as others nearby at Lumbermans Arch and the Aquarium. Translink also stops nearby within the park. Accessible washroom are located on-site.
